About Me
My name is Gemma. I tutor maths, biology, and chemistry for Key Stage 3 and GCSE, and I also tutor A Level biology and transition to A Level maths.
My qualifications:
- Master of Science in Biological Sciences (University of Mississippi)
- Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Biochemistry (Bucknell University)
- Associate of Science in Biotechnology, Biomanufacturing, and Molecular Techniques (Montgomery County Community College)
I have over fifteen years of teaching and tutoring experience, including seven years of private tutoring in the UK. Before that, I taught first-year biology at the University of Mississippi, worked in cancer research at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and spent three years in the pharmaceutical industry. In every role I've had, teaching was always my favourite part.
I hold a current DBS check, which I am happy to show you upon request.
